L'orchestre de l'Opéra
I thought the blog needed a picture, but I didn't have one of the kids that I liked. So, I thought of this one. Keith and I saw this painting at the Museum of Art in Seattle when they had their Impressionist Exhibit a few years ago. There were several beautiful paintings, but I especially remember this one because of the bassoonist. Looking for this picture online, I found some interesting info on the bassoonist. He was Désiré Dihau and was also befriended by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec who also used him in a painting.
