The Sun is Finally Out

We got an early start this morning. Kyle for some reason (maybe it was the Thai Iced Tea he had), kept us up most of the night. He still managed to get up at 6:30am. So, shortly after Keith left for work, the kids and I went shopping and did other errands. Of course we went back to Joann's and I bought more fabric and thread that was 50% off. It started raining last night around midnight and it finally let up around 1 this afternoon. Now it is beautiful out and really bright. Everything looks so fresh.

Kevin and Kaela are cleaning up the front room right now and Kyle is napping. Why is Kaela walking around with her sweater over her head??? Sometimes they remind me of Steve Martin's kid in that movie. I think it was called Parenthood. Rick Moranis' daughter was a super brain, but a bit strange. I definitely prefer my kids to be like Steve Martin's kid. Makes life more fun I think.

Kevin is now setting up his army play stuff that we got at Target yesterday. We used a GC that Aunt Cheryl sent. Thanks Aunt Cheryl! It came with a mountain with a hidden airfield that rolls into the mountain, several new army men with bunkers and flags, army trucks and helicopters. There is a helicopter landing pad on the mountain. It is actually a great gift for what we paid. Kaelie got a new Hello Kitty telephone and address book. How many phones does this girl need? She really loves all her Christmas gifts. She is wearing the hair thingies she got from Aunt Joann and of course the fairy princess stuff from Karensa & Paul doesn't leave her sight. Kyle is pushing his cars around and seems to have grown/matured in the short days since Christmas. He brought me my shoes today as if he understood every word I was saying. I had actually asked Kevin to get them and Kyle did it.

We are having steaks tonight for our end of the year bash. We, of course, are staying in. Keith and I plan on relaxing on the couch. So, happy 2005!

Kevin, Kyle & Kaela

Kevin, Kyle & Kaela

This year's Christmas picture that went out to only a few people. I never did get my Christmas cards out, but I did manage to get the newsletter done - again only a few people got it.
