Our Father's Day Picture
The kids and I took this picture as a Father's day gift for Keith. He has asked me for a picture for his desk. So that's what he got! lol We actually got some fairly decent pictures of us. The kids are at an age when picture taking isn't too stressful.

Kevin Square Dancing
Kevin and the entire second grade had a square dancing and western songs performance yesterday. Here's Kevin doing his part...
He starts off with his back to you. He is wearing his hat backwards (the star is behind him).
Yes this video is just under four minutes long... Enjoy!

Here They Are
So wow! I have really been neglecting this blog. Imagine my shock when I finally realized that my last "real" post was on Valentine's day! So much has gone on. Birthdays amongst them! Here is a "recent" picture of each one of them. I will work on getting some photo albums (online of course) put together and some commentary to got with it. Keith got me a camera for my birthday. It is a cute little thing about the size of my phone. I've been taking a lot of pictures lately.
Let's see if I can't update you with more recent happenings. All the kids got Strep Throat, so that took us out for about a month. Michaela missed a whole week of school and the boys missed about half a week. Kevin ended up getting an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, so he was out of commission for a few more days. We had been back and forth to the doctor so many times, that by the time McKenna got it (she was the last to get it), the doctor didn't even want to see her. The doctor just called in the prescription sight unseen. We've spent a fortune on doctor co-pays and medications. I'm just glad they're all healthy now.
School is over next week. Summer vacation is just over two months long and they all go back mid-August. I am very excited! Just today we found out that our school is going to switch to full-time Kindergarten. I*CAN'T*WAIT! McKenna will be in preschool. I'll have three days of no kids. I have been toying with the idea of going back to school, getting a part-time job, or really putting in some serious time into my Stampin' Up! Business. What's a girl to do??? The part-time job would be nice financially, but I want to be able to still volunteer in the kids' classrooms. Maybe concentrating on Stampin' Up! is what I need instead of a part-time job. The money's there. I just need to work at it.
Well, it's late. I'll try to work on the albums in the next day or two. Until then!

Kevin
Here is a shot of Kevin that I really like. I took this one of him at the park while we were watching for Michaela to finish up her tap class.

McKenna
Here's a picture of McKenna from the beginning of May. She's wearing her fleece jacket because it was actually clod back then!

Barbie Bandaids
So with the kids' birthday's coming up, I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I heard this song today for the first time and thought it was a wonderful song. Check it out when you have a chance and you'll understand what I'm talking about. Get a tissue ready.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Anyway, we are going to have our Valentine's dinner tonight. This year to go along with our tradition of Valentine's dinner, we are starting something new. Karensa and Paul sent us cake mix, frosting, cake decor and a heart shaped cake pan. She said that Grandma Fischer used to make a heart shaped cake for her kids every year. Karensa thought it would be a fun tradition to carry on. So, in honor of Grandma Fischer and Karensa, we are having a heart shaped cake for dessert!
We are having some weird weather. The weekend was glorious at temps in the 80s. Here it is Thursday and it is gloomy, cold, rainy and in the 50s. It is a cold cold SoCal day!
Well, I think I am off for now. Off to bake a cake!

I Know It's Been Awhile!
So yes, it's been a long time. I've been very busy. Just life. Running around with the kids. Karen, my mother-in-law, was with us for two nice weeks. I just have been busy busy. I've been busy with lots of Stamping related stuff. I went to the Stampin Up Regionals that was held in Anaheim and next weekend I am headed back to Anaheim for the Craft & Hobby Association Show. This is a huge show were all things crafty are shown. A lot of craft companies debut their new product lines here. It's huge! Anyway. Here are some pictures to tide you over a bit. One of the girls. And one of me. I cut about 12" from my hair. This is what I'm looking like these days...
